The Colts cut Scott from the practice squad Tuesday.
Scott spent time with the Panthers during the offseason, and after failing to stick with the Colts, he will now need to search for opportunities elsewhere. The undrafted rookie out of Idaho State is looking for a shot to make his NFL debut.

Jared Scott: Joins Colts' practice squad
Indianapolis signed Scott to the practice squad Thursday.
Scott spent time in Carolina this preseason, but he will now look to prove himself with the Colts. The undrafted rookie out of Idaho State currently looks set to operate in an emergency reserve role behind all of Mo Alie-Cox, Jelani Woods and Kylen Granson.

Jared Scott: Let go by Carolina
The Panthers waived Scott on Tuesday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Scott signed with the Panthers in May as an undrafted free agent out of Idaho State. He caught two of three targets for 19 yards across 13 offensive snaps during Saturday's exhibition contest against the Patriots.
