Adam Plutko: Lands in KBO

Plutko signed with the LG Twins of Korea Baseball Organization on Thursday, Sung Min Kim of The Athletic reports.

Plutko served as a reliever for the Orioles in 2021, posting a 6.71 ERA and 1.63 WHIP across 56.1 innings. After being designated for assignment in mid-August, it didn't appear that he would have significant opportunity in the major leagues moving forward. Instead, Plutko may have the chance to return to a starting role with the Twins, and he is set to make up to $800,000 on a one-year deal.
