Anthony Gose: Parts ways with Cleveland

The Guardians declined to tender Gose (elbow) a contract for 2023, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

A converted outfielder, Gose showed real promise as a relief pitcher before suffering a triceps injury that ultimately led to Tommy John surgery in September. He will miss all of next season, though another team might be intrigued enough to bring Gose in right away on a two-year deal.
