Astros manager Joe Espada said Sunday that X-rays on Meyers' left hand returned negative, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
It's an encouraging development after Meyers was removed from Saturday's Grapefruit League contest against the Mets after being hit by a pitch on the hand. The 27-year-old will have a couple days to recover before the Astros take on the Yankees on Thursday for Opening Day.
