Athletics' Kirby Snead: Lands on 60-day IL

Snead (shoulder) was placed on the 60-day injured list Sunday.

Snead was shut down from throwing in early March due to a left shoulder strain, and he'll be sidelined for at least the first two months of the season. The 28-year-old received his first substantial run in the big leagues last year and had a 5.84 ERA, 1.75 WHIP and 35:22 K:BB over 44.2 innings.
