Athletics' Sam Fuld: Having MRI on shoulder

Fuld is scheduled for an MRI on his shoulder Sunday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Fuld has been on point at the plate throughout the spring, boasting a .417/.517/.625 line, one home run, six RBI, four runs scored, and five walks versus four strikeouts in 24 at-bats. However, on a throw to the plate Saturday, the outfielder "felt something" in his left shoulder. While potentially ominous, the examination will reveal the extent of the injury.
