Athletics' Sam Fuld: Out for 3 weeks

Fuld will be out for three weeks due to a moderate left shoulder strain, CSN's Joe Stiglich reports.

Coming off an ugly 2015 campaign, Fuld was hoping to earn one of the final spots on the Opening Day roster, but he's now expected to miss at least the first week of the season. His absence could allow Jake Smolinski to make the squad.
