Fuld signed a one-year contract with the A's on Wednesday, avoiding arbitration, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
2015 was a low point for Fuld, who finished with a .197/.276/.293 batting line in 120 games. He logged 108 at-bats atop the order for Oakland while also seeing time at all three outfield spots, and it's his defensive versatility and speed that will likely keep him in the fourth-outfielder role to start 2016. That is, unless the team brings in more outfield talent.
