Athletics' Zack Godley: Gets minors deal from A's

Godley signed a minor-league contract with the Athletics on Tuesday.

Godley had been pitching with the independent league Gastonia Honey Hunters. The 33-year-old hasn't appeared in the majors since 2021 and hasn't seen extensive action at the big-league level since 2019.
