Varsho went 3-for-5 with a double, a three-run homer and three runs scored in Wednesday's win over the Angels.
Varsho doubled in his second trip to the plate before coming around to score on a Vladimir Guerrero single. The outfielder then smacked a three-run shot off Tyler Anderson in the fifth to extend Toronto's lead to six runs, giving him 15 long balls on the campaign. Varsho also posted three hits in the contest for only the second time this season, and he's now registered multiple knocks in two of his last four games. In the month of August, he's slashing .279 with two homers, five RBI and nine runs scored.
