Brewers' Hedbert Perez: Hits first homer this season

Perez went 1-for-5 with a home run in Sunday's game with Single-A Carolina.

Perez had a tough time at the Single-A level last season, and he has not done much early this year, tallying just three hits over 29 at-bats. However, all three of those have went for extra bases, and some struggles can be expected for a player who is nearly two years younger than league average. Perez is one of the better prospects in the Brewers' system, so don't be surprised if he takes off at some point.
