Miller entered the eighth inning with the Cardinals down a pair of runs. After he retired the side in order, St. Louis took the lead to set up Miller with the win. He has two scoreless appearances since returning from the injured list with an elbow injury. The 36-year-old has a 5.14 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with nine strikeouts in 14 innings this season.
