Cardinals' Yadier Molina: Scratched with abdominal soreness

Molina was scratched from Tuesday's lineup with right lower abdominal soreness, Derrick Goold of the St. Loius Post-Dispatch reports.

He apparently was bothered by the ailment when working out pregame. Carson Kelly, who is getting the start at catcher and hitting eighth, will get the bulk of the work behind the dish if Molina's injury lingers. Molina was hitting .304 with six home runs and three steals in 138 at-bats since the All-Star break.
