Cubs' Anderson Espinoza: Sent down Wednesday

Espinoza was optioned to Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday, Taylor McGregor of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Espinoza was recalled by the Cubs on Saturday but will head back to the minors after he gave up four runs on four hits and three walks while striking out four in three innings during Tuesday's loss to the Cardinals in the second game of a doubleheader. Kervin Castro was called up as part of a move to take his place in the bullpen.
