Takahashi was outrighted to Triple-A Reno on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old was left out of Arizona's 60-player pool at the start of the season because he was unable to get back from his native Brazil, and he never pitched this season. Takahashi spent the 2019 campaign at the Double-A level and posted a 3.72 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 104:38 K:BB over 118.2 innings.
