Dodgers' Darien Nunez: DFA'd by Dodgers

Nunez (elbow) was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on Sunday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Nunez is scheduled to undergo Tommy John surgery and has now been removed from Los Angeles' 40-man roster. The 29-year-old lefty will miss the rest of the season while recovering from the procedure, and he's also likely to be out for the first couple months of the 2023 campaign.
