Dodgers' Jimmie Sherfy: Placed on injured list

Sherfy was placed on the 10-day injured list with right elbow inflammation Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Sherfy was hit hard in Friday's game against the Giants and was charged with the loss. Presumably, he began to experience the inflammation during or after that appearance. It's unclear how long he may be sidelined, though the Dodgers recalled Mitch White to provide bullpen depth in his absence.
