Donny Sands: Released by San Francisco

The Giants released Sands on Sunday.

Sands was cut loose after slashing just .176/.250/.196 in 13 games with Triple-A Sacramento. The 28-year-old saw some brief action in the majors in 2022 with the Phillies but has bounced around in the minors with a few organizations since then.
