Giants' Jason Krizan: Lands minor-league contract

Krizan signed a minor-league contract with the Giants on Wednesday, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Krizan has served as organizational depth with the Tigers and Mets during his career, and he'll likely play a similar role with the Giants in 2021. The 31-year-old wasn't included on the Mets' 60-man roster in 2020, but he had a .827 OPS with 14 home runs and 65 RBI between the Double-A and Triple-A level in 2019.
