Giants' Johan Camargo: Loses 40-man roster spot

Camargo was designated for assignment Wednesday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Camargo loses his spot on the Giants' 26-man active roster and 40-man roster following the signing of Paul DeJong. He had been seeing regular action at shortstop of late for San Francisco but will now go through the waiver process.
