Jake Diekman: Released by Atlanta

Atlanta released Diekman on Wednesday.

Diekman was reassigned to minor-league camp this past weekend and will now look to latch on in another organization. The 38-year-old had a 5.63 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 40:24 K:BB over 43 regular-season appearances with the Mets last season before being released in the second half.
