Luetge opted out of his minor-league deal with the Red Sox on Saturday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Luetge joined Boston on a minor-league deal in February. He has spent the whole season with Triple-A Worcester, recording six saves with a 3.02 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 47:13 K:BB across 41.2 innings. Luetge held a 7.24 ERA across 13.2 innings with Atlanta last season, but given his strong play in Triple-A this year, the 37-year-old southpaw should garner interest from teams in need of left-handed depth in the bullpen.
