Mariners' Nick Solak: Loses 40-man spot

Seattle designated Solak for assignment Monday.

Acquired from the Reds shortly before Opening Day, Solak has now been DFA'd for the second time in less than a month. Solak has gone 1-for-13 through his first four games at Triple-A Tacoma and will remain with the affiliate if he isn't claimed off waivers.
