Marlins' Preston Guilmet: Contract selected by Miami

Guilmet had his contract selected by the Marlins on Wednesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

The veteran right-hander will join the Marlins for the third time this season, though he hasn't pitched in the big leagues since 2018. Guilmet has been at Triple-A Jacksonville in 2021, forging a 3.41 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 45:6 K:BB across 34.1 innings.
