Mets' Seth Elledge: Claimed by Mets

The Mets claimed Elledge off waivers from Atlanta on Tuesday and optioned to Triple-A Syracuse.

Elledge had been designated for assignment Saturday by Atlanta. The 26-year-old right-hander has not appeared in a game at the MLB level since 2021, when he posted a 4.63 ERA in 11.2 total innings with the Cardinals.
