Mets' Zach Pop: Clears waivers

Pop was sent outright to Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday.

Pop was designated for assignment Wednesday and has since cleared waivers. He allowed 10 earned runs across 2.1 innings in his last two big-league outings but will remain with the organization as depth.
