Michael Fulmer: Becomes free agent

Fulmer elected to become a free agent Monday.

Fulmer passed through waivers unclaimed after being booted off the Cubs' 40-man roster and he is now free to sign with another organization. The veteran hurler has allowed three runs with a 3:2 K:BB over 5.2 innings between the Red Sox and Cubs in 2025.
