Nationals' Kyle McGowin: Activated from IL

The Nationals reinstated McGowin (biceps) from the 10-day injured list Sunday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Right biceps tendinitis had kept McGowin out since July 11, at which point he had pitched to a 4.56 ERA and 29:12 K:BB in 25.2 innings with the Nationals. Andrew Stevenson was optioned to Triple-A Rochester in a corresponding move.
