Orioles' Paul Janish: Contract selected from Triple-A

Janish had his contract purchased from Triple-A Norfolk on Monday.

With J.J. Hardy expected to miss an extended period of time while recovering from a fractured wrist, Janish was added to the Orioles to provide some infield depth. He failed to collect a hit (0-for-5) in three games with the big club earlier in the year before being designated for assignment.
