O'Grady was optioned to Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday.
O'Grady has been up in the majors since July 10 and went 2-for-8 with a home run, two walks, three RBI and two runs in eight appearances. Trade acquisition Adam Frazier was added to the 26-man roster in a corresponding move.
