Padres' Seth Mejias-Brean: Booted from 40-man roster

Mejias-Brean was outrighted to Triple-A El Paso on Monday.

Mejias-Brean saw limited time with the big-league club in 2019, hitting .233 with two homers and five RBI over 14 games. The Padres have cleared a spot on the 40-man roster by outrighting the Arizona product to the minors.
