Pirates' Trevor Cahill: Coming along slowly

Cahill (calf) has been progressing slowly in his recovery, Jake Crouse of MLB.com reports.

Cahill had resumed running in late June, but manager Derek Shelton said Saturday that the right-hander hasn't been progressing as quickly as the Pirates had hoped. The 33-year-old was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday, so he'll be sidelined until at least mid-August.
