Rangers' Hunter Wood: MRI on tap

Wood (elbow) will undergo an MRI after leaving Saturday's game, Manny Randhawa of MLB.com reports.

Wood retired the first two batters faced before issuing a walk and a wild pitch and was removed following that sequence. If a stint on the injured list is required, manager Chris Woodward hinted the club would call up Demarcus Evans from Triple-A Round Rock.
