Didder was released by the Padres last week, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
San Diego signed Didder to a minor-league contract in December, but the 25-year-old never got a chance to prove himself in the Padres' system. Didder played for the Braves' Double-A affiliate last season, swiping 28 bases but posting a paltry .203/.332/.285 slash line.
