Reds' Andy Yerzy: Inks minors deal with Cincinnati

Yerzy signed a minor-league contract Thursday with the Reds.

A second-round pick of the Blue Jays in the 2016 MLB Draft out of a high school in the Toronto area, Yerzy holds a career .233/.330/.396 minor-league slash line. The 24-year-old will serve as organizational depth at catcher for Cincinnati in 2023.
