Reds' Jared Solomon: Optioned to Triple-A

Solomon was optioned to Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday.

Solomon joined the Reds' bullpen Friday and gave up three runs in a relief inning against the Giants on Saturday. He'll remain with the Reds on their road trip as part of the taxi squad but will be cast off the active roster after Jeff Hoffman (undisclosed) was reinstated from the injured list Wednesday.
