The Reds optioned Solomon to Triple-A Louisville on July 8.
Solomon was up with the Reds for only one day while serving as the team's 27th man for a doubleheader with the Pirates. Over 8.1 innings with the big club this season, Solomon has given up 10 earned runs on eight hits and five walks.
