Reds' TJ Friedl: Testing hamstring pregame

Friedl will test his left hamstring in a pregame workout Wednesday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Friedl is out of the Reds' starting lineup Wednesday night against the Red Sox, with Jose Barrero instead getting the nod in center field, but it sounds like the 27-year-old could be available off the bench if there are no issues during his pregame drills. Friedl made an early exit from Tuesday's win over Boston after experiencing minor left hamstring tightness.
