Rockies' Jake Cave: Starting Sunday, but losing work

Cave will start in left field and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Brewers.

Though he'll be included in the lineup Sunday over a resting Nolan Jones, the lefty-hitting Cave was on the bench for three of the Rockies' previous four matchups with right-handers. The Rockies look to be prioritizing Jones and Jordan Beck as starters in the corner outfield ahead of Cave, a 31-year-old journeyman who is entering his final year of arbitration this winter and may be a non-tender candidate.
