Rockies' Ryan Castellani: Stays in organization

The Rockies outrighted Castellani to Triple-A Albuquerque on Wednesday.

Castellani will remain a member of the Colorado organization after none of baseball's other 29 teams elected to put in a waiver claim for the 25-year-old right-hander when he was designated for assignment last week. He'll likely slot into the Albuquerque rotation, but his lack of a 40-man roster spot will hamper Castellani's chances of receiving another call-up to the big club.
