Royals' Jake Newberry: Called up by Royals

Newberry was recalled by the Royals on Saturday.

Newberry was sent down Tuesday, but he'll return to the major-league bullpen after Kyle Zimmer (back) was placed on the 10-day injured list. Newberry has allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out four in 3.1 innings across three relief appearances this year.
