Royals' Jose Briceno: Re-ups with Kansas City

Briceno re-signed with the Royals on a minor-league contract Wednesday.

Briceno spent all of the 2022 campaign at Triple-A Omaha, putting up a .702 OPS with four homers across 141 plate appearances. Barring a major surprise, he'll be heading back to Omaha again to start 2023.
