Castro was added to the lineup for Friday's game against the Rangers, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
Castro was initially slated to get a day off after drawing four consecutive starts, but he'll start in center field and bat third after Austin Meadows (undisclosed) was a late scratch. Castro has gone 3-for-16 with a homer, three runs and five strikeouts over the last five games.
