Wilk was shelled in his spot start Saturday against the Indians, allowing six earned runs through 3.1 innings to take the loss. He allowed eight hits and three walks while striking out two batters and was designated for assignment after the game.

The Indians got to Wilk early, scratching three runs across in the first inning, and then continued the onslaught into the fourth inning. Now that he's been designated for assignment, Wilk will be subject to waivers, but could return to the Twins despite no longer having a spot on the 40-man roster.
