Twins' Alex Wimmers: Recalled from Triple-A Rochester

Wimmers has been recalled from Triple-A Rochester, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Wimmers struggled at the start of the season with a 5.73 ERA with a 9:7 K:BB in his first 11 innings. However, he's given up just two runs in nine innings in May with a 7:3 K:BB. He'll get a shot at middle relief as the Twins look for answers with a beleaguered bullpen.
