Twins' Charlie Barnes: Recalled by Twins

Barnes was recalled from Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday.

Barnes was sent down earlier this week after he tossed four scoreless innings in Tuesday's win over the Tigers, but he'll serve as the starter in Sunday's season finale against the Royals, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports. The southpaw has posted a 5.86 ERA and 1.53 WHIP in 35.1 innings across eight appearances (seven starts) in the big leagues this year.
