Twins' Diego A. Castillo: Outrighted to Triple-A

The Twins outrighted Castillo to Triple-A St. Paul on Friday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Castillo had been removed from the 40-man roster earlier this week following a brief stint with the big club. He could have elected free agency but instead has accepted the outright assignment and will remain in the organization.
