Twins' Edgar Garcia: Sent down Thursday

Garcia was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Thursday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Garcia made four relief appearances after he rejoined the Twins' bullpen last week, and he allowed four runs in seven innings. He'll head back to the minors after Andrew Albers and Kyle Barraclough were called up by Minnesota on Thursday.
