Tejada accepted a minor-league deal with the White Sox on Friday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
He will meet the Triple-A club in Norfolk for a weekend series. Tejada had been playing at Triple-A with the Phillies until being cut in late August. The 31-year-old hit .232/.342/.263 with Lehigh Valley.
