Yankees' Ali Sanchez: Inks MiLB deal with Yankees

The Yankees signed Sanchez to a minor-league contract Dec. 17.

A defensive-minded catcher, Sanchez has slashed just .183/.220/.233 in 50 games at the big-league level across parts of four seasons. Sanchez will turn 29 in January and is likely to start the 2026 campaign at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
